Phil Ivey usually called "Tiger Woods of poker" has won several big tournaments. He won 3 World Series Of Poker bracelets in 2002, only 26 years old, and has now earned a big respect in the poker community. He is known as one of the hardest player to read at the poker table with cold moves and confusing play.

Phil Ivey was born 1976 in California. He grew up in Atlantic City, New Jersey where he started his professional poker career. Before he started with poker his big passion was to play video games and he was well known in the video game communities. He is a former salesman and he used to work in a telemarketing firm in New Jersey. Phil now lives in Las Vegas where he married with his high school sweetheart.

Although his nickname is "No Home Jerome" most people know him by "Tiger Woods of poker". A lot of people have gotten to know Phil through the television where he has appeared several times.

Phil Ivey is an active online poker player. He is part of the very attractive Team Full Tilt which consist of the following players: Phil Ivey, Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson, Andy Bloch, Erik Seidel, Phil Gordon, Jennifer Harman, Erick Lindgren, Clonie Gowen and John Juanda.

The most remarkable with Phil would be that he won 3 World Series Of Poker bracelets in 2002. He now possesses 5 WSOP bracelets: 2005 - Pot Limit Omaha, 2002 - SHOE, 2002 - 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo, 2002 - 7 Card Stud, 2000 - Pot Limit Omaha. He was only 23 years old when winning his first WSOP. Another aspect that is impressive is his style of play. He is one aggressive player and he has tricked many players to believe that he has nothing then took them all down. Phil is a very cool customer at the table very focused on what his opponents are doing. Very respectful player in both Omaha and Seven Card Stud (where he has won WSOP bracelets) but it is in fact at No Limit Texas Holdem he is mostly known and respected. With an eye like a hawk and a style of smooth aggressive play he is one of the promising young poker players for the future.
