Howard Lederer is "The Professor" of poker. He has 2 World Poker Tour titles, 2 Hall of Fames titles 2 WSOP bracelets and 3 Bellagio titles. With this he has managed to reach 13 World Series Of Poker final tables, which is very impressing proofing that the terminology of poker is more than just luck.

He was born 1964 in Concord, New Hampshire, United States. He grew up in a family of five, along with his sister Annie Duke that also is a famous poker player. He now resides in Las Vegas with Matthias and his wife Suzie. Howard was early found to be a talent at chess, which he masters perfectly. When he was 18 he moved to New York to pursue his passion for chess but instead found a game of poker in the backroom. He was instantly hooked and it didn't take long until he got in to Mayfair Club. From there he played poker up to 70 hours a week for 2 years with now famous poker players like Jay Heimowitz, Erik Seidel, Dan Harrington and Steve Zolotow.

1994 he decided to move to Las Vegas to start playing high-stakes poker and so he did. He is now one of the most respected players in No-Limit Hold'em in tournaments and Limit Hold'em in cash games.
