WSOP or World Series Of Poker is the largest poker tournament in the world. Once every year poker players gathers, from all around the world, in Las Vegas with hope of winning an event and leaving with a WSOP gold bracelet, which is the ultimate dream come true for any poker player.
The games played at the WSOP are Texas Holdem, Omaha, Seven Stud, Razz and Lowball. WSOP provides around 45 events at $1000 buy in and up. The main event is a No Limit Texas Holdem event with a buy-in of $10,000.
The 2006 WSOP Main Event, with a $10,000 buy in, had 8773 starting players and a first prize of $12,000,000, which was won by Jamie Gold.
