How do I register and open a new account?

Setting up a new account is easy and completely Free. If a poker site states that it costs money to download the software leave that poker room immidiately, downloading a poker software and opening an account is and should always be Free.

When you are registering and setting up your account for the first time you will have to enter your details for ex; name, adress, phone number, country etc. This will vary from poker room to poker room. In order to play for Real money however full details will have to be provided. In the tutorial on how to open a new account below we have used Ultimatebet as reference. Please be advised that setting up or opening a new account at another poker room might be slight different.

OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT - TUTORIAL

1. First go to an online poker room ex. Ultimatebet.com or Fulltiltpoker.com. We will use Ultimatebet in this tutorial.
2. Click OK in the popup window that appears to download the software. (It will say something like "Download for Free and start playing...")
3. If the download didn't started and you see an image with the text "Click here to download now" click the image and select SAVE then SAVE AS. Save to a location on the hard drive that you remember for ex your desktop.
4. After the download is finished find the file, which in this case should be something like ubsetup.exe and double click to install the program
5. When you double click a window pops up telling you "Do you want to run this file" click "Yes" or "Run", the installation will begin
6. Mark the "I agree" then next. The default installation dir will be something like c:\program\ultimatebet, just click next and the program now completes the installation
7. When the installation has finished Ultimatebet should start automatically, if it hasn't started and you are sure the installation is complete double click on the Ultimatebet icon on your desktop to start the program
8. Time too create a new account! Click "Create New Account"
9. Fill in the required fields Username and Password (Write down your Username and Password since this is required to login later). Confirm password, what country, your email address and tick the "I Agree" box then press next
10. Fill in the required fields Security Question, Answer and if someone has referred you or you have a Bonus Code enter this here then press next
11. You have now opened an account for Play Money but in order to receive prizes, play free rolls or play for Real Money you will need to provide your details here. This will take 1 min so we continue the setup
12. Fill in the required fields First Name, Last Name, Birth date, Address, City, Province/State, Postal Code and Phone Number and then press Finish
13. Now Click "My Account" on the left. Enter your Login and Password and a popup displays saying something like "You will have to validate your e-mail...." Click "Validate Now" and check your inbox for the e-mail from Ultimatebet with the validation code
14. Enter the code in the software and you are done!
